Mount

Heart-shaped bronze belt mount. The mount show signs of wear and most of the decoration has been worn away. This type is usually called 'Oriental', but casting moulds of a similar type have been found in Viking Age cultural layers in nearby Sigtuna. The mount may have been made there. Settlement find, Norrtil, Sankt Olof Parish, Uppland. Loan from Sigtuna Museum.
