Loom weights

Five burnt earth loom weights. All are circular, but with different diameters and thicknesses. The weights, which would be attached to the lower edge of the warp would keep the warp taut in an upright loom. Settlement find, Svarta Jorden, Birka, Adelsö Parish, Uppland.
