Mount

Heart-shaped bronze mount. Decorated with eastern influenced floral ornamentation and the stylised beading. The mount is cast in one piece with fastening pins on the back, which suggests that it may be of eastern origin, even if similar mounts appear to have been manufactured in Sigtuna. It was probably fitted to a belt or waistband. Settlement find, Norrtil, Sankt Olof Parish, Uppland. Loan from Sigtuna Museum.
