Chape

Fragment of a bronze chape from a sword sheath. The fragment, the lower part of the chape, is decorated and shaped as a pointed animal head, with pricked up ears. Settlement find, Norrtil, Sankt Olof Parish, Uppland. Loan from Sigtuna Museum.
