Islamic silver coin minted in 740/1 in Wasit (in modern-day Iraq) for the Umayyad Caliph Hisham ibn Abd al-Malik (724-743). This coin is a typical example of how the dirham looked after the coinage reform of 696-698, with the creed and Koranic citation. Part of a hoard find, Sundveda, Odensala Parish, Uppland.
