Coin

100 silver coins from the Sandtorp hoard, which contained a total of 585 coins. Most are English or German, but some come from the Caliphate, Ireland, Bohemia, Sweden, and elsewhere. Only three other Viking Age coin hoards are known from the area of Närke where silver probably only circulated to a limited extent. Part of a hoard find, Sandtorp, Viby Parish, Närke.
