Finger ring

Silver finger ring in the form of a lancet-shaped plate with braided-together ends. The ring is decorated with two rows of triangular stamps and three dots placed with the points facing alternately upwards and downwards. Along the outer edges of the ring and between the rows of stamps there is a bead. A similar ring was found in grave Bj 731 at Birka. Grave find, Vargmötet, Vallentuna Parish, Uppland.
