Posament knots

Four passementerie decorations of gold wire where the thread is twisted round a core, probably a silk thread. The decorations consist of flat single knots and two other types of knot which are usually called monkey's fist knots. Grave find, Birka, Bj 561, Adelsö Parish, Uppland.
