Tortoise brooch

Two bronze oval brooches. This model is relatively unusual and of older, early Viking Age type. Decorated in gripping-beast style in combination with two large Celtic crosses placed centrally on the upper sides. Grave find, Birka, Bj 655, Adelsö Parish, Uppland.
