Stone

Egg-shaped stone with ground surface, showing traces of fire. "The egg" was found in a crevice in a small area which, to judge by the hearths and other objects, may have been place for ritual activities. The arrangement, with the stone egg in a rock crevice, indicates a ritual to do with female fertility. Settlement find, Norrtil, Sankt Olof Parish, Uppland. Loan from Sigtuna Museum.
