Bow-shaped brooch

Triangular bronze bow-shaped brooch with remnants of iron fastening pin at one end. The brooch is decorated with lines along the edges, a little group of four dot circles beside the pin fastening and a three-dimensional, fox-like facemask with bulging eyes at the pointed end. The brooch was found in the ground layer of a pit-house. Settlement find, Norrtil, Sankt Olof Parish, Uppland. Loan from Sigtuna Museum.
