Mount

Round bronze mount. Cast with chip-carving decoration of a triskelion surrounded by vines on the upper side. It is unknown whether the mount belonged to a belt, a bag or was worn decoratively on clothing. The type is common during the Viking Age, from the 10th into the 12th century. Settlement find, Norrtil, Sankt Olof Parish, Uppland. Loan from Sigtuna Museum.
