Vessel

Large pottery vessel made of coarse ware. The decoration, with an applied band with wavy lines, is evidence of the West Slavic provenance of the vessel. Goods such as spices and wine were imported in vessels of this type. Settlement find, Silte, Silte Parish, Gotland.
