Belt mount
19 square, gilded silver shield-like belt mounts. All with a hanging loop to which one of an equal number of pendants was attached. The mounts probably originally adorned a horseman’s kaftan, but were later mounted on a belt. They were made somewhere in the Islamic caliphate and have post-Sasanian floral decoration. Part of a hoard find, Vårby, Huddinge Parish, Södermanland.
