Cast, three-dimensional Christ figure in bronze. The Christ has pronounced facial features such as a prominent chin and staring eyes. The body appears to be emaciated with ribs clearly visible. The arms are of exaggerated length in relation to the body and the hands have nail holes. The loincloth is short and knotted around the waist. Probably Nordic/Scandinavian craftwork and an imitation of a continental European original. Was originally attached to a processional cross. Stray find from a gravel pit, Halvards, Silte Parish, Gotland.
