Rope made of indeterminate plant fibre. A number of fragments of plant fibre rope knotted together with a half hitch. The rope is laid in a cross shape and was found under a stone which was probably an anchor stone. Found in the bottom sediment, in the waters outside Birka, Adelsö Parish, Uppland.
