Finger ring

Finger ring with glass stone. The stone has an inscription in Kufic Arabic which may signify 'for Allah" or 'to Allah". The ring probably originates from an area within the Islamic caliphate, but may possibly also be from another Arabic speaking region in the Middle East. Grave find, Birka, Bj 515, Adelsö Parish, Uppland.
