Islamic silver coin minted in 695/6 in Bishapur (in modern-day Iran) for the Umayyad governor Al-Muhallab ibn Abi Suffrah (694-698). The is based on the Sasanian model, with portraits and Zoroastrian fire altars. It belongs to a transition period, before the coinage reform of 696-698. Following this major reform all Islamic coins were without images. Part of a hoard find, Sundveda, Odensala Parish, Uppland.
