Silver coin of the pseudo-Samanid type, minted in around 950, probably in Kiev or Pskov. On the obverse side of the coin there is a falcon head with a cross, which can probably be linked to the emblem of the Rus. The coin reflects the role of the Rus in the eastern slave trade. Part of a hoard find, Västergårde, Sundre Parish, Gotland.
