German silver coin minted in 1027-1036 in Cologne for Archbishop Pilgrim (1021-1036) and Emperor Conrad II (1027-1039). In 11th century Germany a large proportion of the minting rights were transferred to the local chieftains, who were able to mint coins with their names on.
