Rune sheet

Two narrow, oblong copper plates with engravings. The smaller one is fragmented. One end of each of the plates is folded over, which means that they were worn as pendants and probably were part of a set of beads. Both plates are in bad condition and the inscriptions are partially illegible or difficult to decipher. On the smaller it says -run ~ near which means "secret", "secret knowledge", or alternatively only 'rune'. The larger plate has a longer and slightly better preserved inscription which can be read but not understood or deciphered. It probably has a magical meaning and runs: "...aistRataubalufalaRai..." Grave find, Klinta, Köping Parish, Öland.
