Reticella beaker
Sherd from body of reticella beaker of red glass with applied yellow and yellow-black decoration. Reticulated (reticella) vessels were probably used for different drinking ceremonies which finished with the glass being smashed on the floor. Reticulated or reticella refers to a type of beaker decorated with different colours using glass threads which were melted onto the beaker. Grave find, Helgö, building group 2, Ekerö Parish, Uppland.
