Fire steel

Iron fire striker with moulded bronze details. The fire striker is also called the "riders fire striker" after the horseback riders on the upper part. This type is of eastern origin and is common in Finland, the Baltic States and Russia. Grave find, Birka, Bj 776, Adelsö Parish, Uppland.
