Silver encolpion, small reliquary, in the shape of a cross pendant. Consisting of two halves joined together at the top with a pin. The lock mechanism is located at the bottom. The arms of the cross are extended with rounded ends which have two knobs. In the front is a relief-decorated crucifix motif where Christ is depicted with a sunken body and knee-length loincloth. Above is the name plate and two spiral decorations. In the middle and tips of the cross there are round medallions with bust images in relief, possibly five of the apostles. The encolpion is of Eastern origin and is probably Russian craftwork. Part of a hoard find, Dörby, Norra Möckleby Parish, Öland.
