Spear head

Large iron spear or lance head with silver damascened ferrule with niello inlay and decoration. There are runic inscriptions on both sides of the ferrule. The inscription runs: "Rane owns this spear. Botfoss inscribed this". Found during ditch digging in a field between Svenskens in Endre Parish and Stor-Vede in Follingbo Parish, Gotland.
