Belt purse

On his clothing the little boy wore a small, luxurious leather "belt bag" with a bronze coated cover. The leather from the bag is mostly decomposed, so only the lid is exhibited in the display case. The cover of the bag has a punched pit decoration with details in applied white metal, especially silver. Grave find, Birka, Bj 819, Adelsö Parish, Uppland.
