Tortoise brooch

Two double-shelled, gilded oval brooches. The outer shell has openwork decoration in gripping-beast style. On the intact iron pins and clasps on the back there are many textile fragments, rusted on. Grave find, Birka, Bj 566, Adelsö Parish, Uppland.
