Gilded bronze oval brooch with white metal/silver and niello inlays. Scandinavian craftwork but with a mixture of Carolingian and Scandinavian decoration. On the back there are remnants of wool from a garment. Grave find, Birka, Bj 550, Adelsö Parish, Uppland.
