Ring brooch

Bronze penannular brooch. Lavishly designed with three large dragon heads, two at the ends of the brooch, and the third in the middle of the back edge. All the dragon heads and frames are partially coated with silver plating which is decorated with niello. The eyes on the dragon head on the back edge have been embellished with blue glass. Stray find, Tomta, Rone Parish, Gotland.
