Coins

50 silver coins from the Fjällkinge hoard, which contained a total of 200 coins. The hoard also contains a number of German and English coins. The contents of the hoard are evidence of the onset of a monetary economy in Denmark in the 1060s. The coins began to be counted rather than weighed. The coins are part of a hoard find, Fjälkinge by, Fjälkinge Parish, Skåne.
