Coin (denar)

Polish silver coin minted in Mogilno for king Boleslaus I (992-1025) based on a German model. Boleslaus I was probably the first Polish leader to have coins minted, despite the fact that it was long believed that his father Mieszko I already had his own mint. Part of a hoard find, Unna Saiva, Gällivare Parish, Lappland.
