Silver coin minted 996-998 by the Uqaylid Dynasty, probably in Mosul (modern-day Iraq). Coins of this type are rare in the Nordic region, where coin imports from the Caliphate fell drastically after 950. Part of hoard find, Sigsarve, Hejde Parish, Gotland.
