Hemispherical gaming piece made of jet, which was shaped and ground to a shining black surface. Another name for jet is black amber. The material was extracted during the Viking Age in mines in the Yorkshire region of north-east England. Settlement find, Svarta Jorden, Birka, Adelsö Parish, Uppland.
