Filigree pendant

Round, shield-shaped filigree pendant of gilded silver. Decoration in the form of four double spirals made of flat hammered, vertically placed double thread. At the centre, between these, there is a boss with four knobs surrounded by a thick twisted thread. Along the edges are three rows of narrow, twisted threads, held together with lateral tabs. The upper part of the pendant is damaged and it does not have a hanging loop. Two rivet holes from a later date are evidence of a repair or modification. Part of a hoard find, Stora Ryk, Färgelanda Parish, Dalsland.
