Pendants

Two silver pendants with niello details. The pendants are composed of three animal heads whose neck flaps are gripping into each other and are held together by a triquetra-shaped symbol with three gripping-beast paws. The pendants are of Scandinavian origin and were probably made in the early 9th century. This is unusually old in relation to the other parts of the hoard find. Part of a hoard find, Stora Ryk, Färgelanda Parish, Dalsland.
