Gold thread embroidery depicting a backward-looking deer. The motif is probably a symbol for Christ. The pure heart of the deer/Christ is marked in the embroidery with an inlay of a small piece of shimmering white quartz. Grave find, Birka, Bj 832, Adelsö Parish, Uppland.
