Bowl

Birch bowl. Found together with a drinking cup, a spoon and a ladle by the eastern stern part of the boat. This placement, together with the fact of them being household objects, suggests that they were used at a burial ceremony. For reasons of space we have chosen to place the objects inside the boat. Grave find, Årby, Rasbokil Parish, Uppland.
