Bridle

Decorated horse bridles made with 21 differently shaped, gilded and richly ornamented bronze mounts on a leather strapping and an accompanying iron bit. Five of the gilded mounts stand out. They are decorated in relief in a gripping-beast style called Broa Style, named after the place they were found. Three of them are rectangular with animal heads in the upper edges, the other two have dragon heads in profile. Grave find, Broa, Gotland.
