Sword

Double-edged iron sword. The handle is relatively light; its triangular pommel is characterised by a check pattern, made of inlaid silver thread. The edge is decorated with lateral braids of intertwined silver and copper thread. Both hilts are decorated with vertical copper threads between which silver plates with lines create geometric figures. Grave find, Ultuna, Bondkyrko Parish, Uppland.
