Ring brooch

Bronze penannular brooch. Intact but with quite a lot of wear and tear. It has ring and dot decoration, rectangular end knobs, and stamped decoration on the ring in the form of double rows with small triangles and engraved lines on the pin fastening. The brooch was found in a vegetation layer which cannot be dated, but the type may suggest the 10th or 11th centuries. Settlement find, Norrtil, Sankt Olof Parish, Uppland. Loan from Sigtuna Museum.
